April 20, 2005
Greetings from Nick's Pizza Stop!
...and welcome to the April edition of Nick's E-news
SPECIAL HOURS THIS WEEKEND
As discussed in last month's e-news, we have a wedding in the Nick's
Pizza Stop family this month! Please join us in congratulating our head
cook Micheal Cronic and his bride Nicole Tessner. They will be married
in Micheal's hometown of Hogansville on Saturday, April 22.
...The only downside is that we will not have lunch service on Friday or
Saturday, April 22 and 23, and we will be opening late that Saturday
night.
MARKETPLACE MIX UP
We were very excited to be featured in the
"Marketplace" section of the Newnan Times-Herald on Sunday, April 10,
but we do want to correct the headline. I assure you, if we ever tell
you that we're short-staffed because Nick's stuck in traffic, we aren't
making it up. It's true that I only "commute" to my home office for my
day job with CTR group, but Nick still works in Atlanta to pay the
mortgage!
There were a few other minor misstatements in the article so if anything
in the article confused you, we'll be happy to set the record straight.
(Also for the record, the accompanying article about the
www.grantville.net website
erroneously identified that site as being directly associated with the
Grantville Historic Preservation Commission, but that is not the case.
The site is simply my "pet project" to try and stir up a little
Grantville activity on the net!)
YOU HAVEN'T GOT MAIL
....at least not from Nick's Pizza Stop anytime recently. We have
postponed our next mailing until we finalize plans for kitchen upgrades
this spring. The upgrades will make it necessary for us to close for
approximately two weeks. The "closed" dates and more will be announced
here and in the next print issue of Nick's News.
NEW AT NICK'S
We
invite you to try our new Meatlover McGee...our popular beef-sausage-ham
and pepperoni pizza with twice the meat! We are also pleased to
report that we will be offering Artichoke hearts as a specialty topping
throughout the month of May!
DRIVER WANTED
We
are currently accepting applications for a weekend driver position.
Applicants must be 18 with a reliable car. A copy of your Motor Vehicle
driving history report and current auto insurance information will be
required before hiring. We prefer candidates with recent experience in
customer service (it does not have to be in the restaurant industry.)
Walk-in applications will not be accepted. Please call 678-641-2170 or
send inquiries to
nickspizzastop@mindspring.com.
