Happy New Year from Nick's Pizza Stop

…..and welcome to the January 2006 edition of Nick’s E-News

It's Nick's birthday! - Second Anniversary Celebration

This week marks the beginning of our third year of business.  To celebrate, we are having our own version of the traditional January White Sale. Now through January 28, we'll offer special pricing on our "white" menu items. The Sale will feature the venerable favorite, Ramponi White Pizza; last fall's sensation, the A℘ and a current "off the menu" favorite, Mike Morrow's Bacon-Chick Pizza. We'll also offer two new pizzas that take the white pizza over the top... Deborah's White-Hot Pizza and our new Baked Potato Pizza. For those of you trying to honor New Year's Resolutions to reduce carbs, we recommend the Insalata Bianca (white salad).

Each night during the sale, we'll also randomly send out at least one Nick's Mystery Box.  Each mystery box will contain a signature food item, Nick's T-shirt, gift certificate or other surprise.

We'll cap off our anniversary celebration with a Nick's Birthday Party in our dining room on Tuesday, January 31. Chef Nick will be in the 'front of the house' all evening and as business volume permits, we'll also invite Micheal, Mike, Scott and Reggie to take a break from their regular duties to join the party. We'll have regular delivery service that night, but invite you to take-out or dine in, and enjoy some birthday cake and the company of other Nick's fans.

What’s new at Nick’s

Out with the Old: In the several weeks or so, we'll be making some changes to our dining room decor, including placement of new dining tables. The current dining tables will be sold on a first come - first serve basis for $10 each.

Our current service counter is being converted to a reading/game playing counter and a new service counter will include space for Coweta-related merchandise. Over the reading counter will be a "Nick's wall" where we'll feature customer photographs and memorabilia relating to the pizzeria, and another wall will feature photographs, clippings and framed artifacts relating to community history. If you have historical items to donate or loan for display, please contact us!

There may be a bit of disarray in the dining room while work is conducted - but the good news is that you won't be seeing any "closed for remodeling" signs!

New Menu Items: In addition to our new "white" pizzas we've introduced another item that's sure to be a favorite. Our new chicken parmesan sandwich is a simple variation on a familiar theme, but it is truly delicious.  We also now offer our Tortellini in festive Italian colors!

Special Event Next Month!

We had so much fun at the Christmas Calico Banquet, we've decided to host a similar event for Valentine's Day. On Tuesday, February 14, we will present the Feast of St. Valentine. By prepaid reservation, you and your guest can enjoy Chef Nick's Stuffed Pork Loin or Roasted Game Hen, both served with an apple-cider sauce, and accompanied by delightful side dishes. The meal will also include bread, appetizer, beverage and desert.  A rose and souvenir menu will be provided for each couple - which does not necessarily have to mean "sweethearts."

The full Feast menu will be posted online by January 22, but we welcome inquiries via email or telephone (678-641-2170 daytime.) Doors will open at 7 and the meal will be served at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $55 per couple (table for 4) or $100 for a private table.  We have about 1/3 confirmed reservations already and the event will be promoted in the January 18 issue of the very popular West Georgia Beacon, so make your reservations soon!

Please note that Nick's will be closed for this special event.
